I want to buy 10 widgets, but the quantity box always reads as 1. How can I add more than one at a time to my order?
You can click on the 1 at any time, and change it to whatever number you wish. Then just click the Add To Basket button.
I added some items to my shopping cart, but I'm not sure if they're there. How can I tell?
There are two ways to tell if an item is in your shopping cart. Each item has a line associated with it that reads "Quantity in Basket: none". If none is replaced with a number, then you have that quantity of the item in your basket.
An easier way to see what's in your shopping cart is to click on the Basket Contents link just above the blue bar on every page in the store. You will see a list of everything in your cart and the subtotal of the cart.
I want to remove an item from my shopping cart. How do I remove or change the quantity in my shopping cart?
You may change the quantity of any item in your shopping cart at any time. Simply change the number in the quantity box and click the Update button. To completely remove the item from your cart, change the quantity to zero and click the Update button.
I'm finished shopping. How do I complete my order?
Click on the word "Checkout", and you'll be taken to the checkout pages. "Checkout" can be found on pages inside the store on the right side just below the blue navigation bar that is found throughout the site.
I tried to place an order for a $0.54 lightbulb. Why didn't it work?
All orders placed at Mutual Wheel Company's online store have a $10.00 minimum basket total.
How do I find the items I need?
Use the "Search our store" feature that is available to you when inside the store. It is found in a blue box on the left side of the screen. You can search by keyword, manufacturer name, or manufacturer part number.
What forms of payment can I use in the store?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Who will deliver my purchase?
All packages with a total weight less than UPS's maximum will be shipped via UPS. In the event there are one or more packages in an order and any of them weighs more than the UPS maximum, we will ship that entire order via the motor freight carrier of our choice.
Why should I create an account at Mutual Wheel Company's online store?
By creating an account, you will save yourself time at checkout during future visits to our store. When you make a purchase using your account the addresses and contact information will automatically be filled in for you. You will also be kept up-to-date about any specials we run and about new additions to our store.
Who will have access to my credit card number?
Their is only a handful of people with authorization to process orders placed in Mutual Wheel Company's online store. Any other employee that sees a copy of your order, i.e... a shipping clerk, does not receive the credit card information.
Also, we don't archive your credit card information on our servers. This means that you'll have to enter your credit card information for each purchase. It also means that your valuable credit card information will be safe in the unlikely event that Mutual Wheel Company should become the target of Internet criminals.
